Rescue from a live LV panel & CPR

This course is for those persons who are filling the role of safety observer for electrical work.

Course Outline

Rescue from a live low voltage panel and CPR are the minimum requirements for any persons working with an electrical person as a safety observer. The online component of the electrical training course covers all aspects of performing a rescue from a live panel and performing Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation. The “face to face” component of the course includes instruction in the rescue of a person (lightweight dummy) from a simulated “live” switchboard and a CPR course using a mannequin and a defibrillator.

Mode of Delivery

This course is delivered face-to-face and consists of theory followed by the practical component of the course includes instruction in the rescue of a person (lightweight dummy) from a simulated “live” switchboard and a CPR course using a mannequin and a defibrillator.

Who Should Attend?

Any person operating in the capacity of a safety observer or assisting an electrical person.

Refresher Training

Any person operating in the capacity as a safety observer for an electrical person needs to complete this course at intervals not exceeding 12 months
